Counter-Strike: 1.6 Season 1 Information

Registration for Season 1 will open on Tuesday, December 4th, 2012 and will end on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013 at 11:59 PM EST. Season 1 is completely FREE to play and participation includes:

• ALL matches protected by CEVO's new Paladin anti-cheat technology
• Automatic weekly matches scheduled and easy to use match scheduling thread
• Updated standings and team rankings
• Helpful league officials available for LIVE support on ALL match nights
• FREE access to community forums and prediction systems for every match
• Ability to reserve FREE dedicated servers for all matches

Season Details:

- 1 week preason

- 8 week regular season

- double elimination playoffs

- 1 skill division (CEVO-Open)

- Thursday deadline day's

Prizes:

As this is the first season on our new website, Season 1 will not have a prize pool. Throughout Season 1 we'll guage participation and support for each individual game title, and as we move into future seasons & events, we hope to introduce multiple skill divisions and prizes for our featured games where participation is strongest.  In the mean time, teams competing in the season 1 playoffs will be offered guaranteed moveups to new skill divisions created for next season and preferred seeding in any off-season events that we host.

North American players can register their teams at CEVO.com beginning on Tuesday, December 4th until Thursday, January 3rd at 11:59 PM EST.
