Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Season 2 - Main Placement Tournament

The Main Division (CEVO-M) will consists of only the top 24 teams in North America. Teams are selected for this division based on our last season's performance (top 12) and victories in the Professional Placement Tournament (top 8).

The Main Placement Tournament consists of 16 teams in a double elimination, with the top eight (8) advancing to the Professional Division. The eight (8) teams that do not qualify for the Main Division will play in the FREE Division.

The Main Placement Tournament is utilized so as to remove subjective opinions and any influence of people from the selection process. Teams for CEVO-M qualify exclusively based on their proven performance against other top caliber teams.

Round 1 - Tuesday, December 8th
Round 2 -Wednesday, December 9th
Round 3 - Thursday, December 10th

Reschedules and postponements are NOT allowed, exceptions will only be made for very extreme circumstances. In regard to this, ALL TEAMS are recommended to have at least 7 members on their roster in the event you cannot field your regular 5.

3. Top Gun(Season 1 Playoff Team)
4. We Play Naked(Season 1 Playoff Team)

9. (Application Spot)
10. (Application Spot)
11. (Application Spot)
12. (Application Spot)
13. (Application Spot)
14. (Application Spot)
15. (Application Spot)
16. (Application Spot)

Rules and Guidelines:

The tournament rules and guidelines are as follows:

- All CEVO rules are in full effect, except as different below.
- The tournament format is double elimination.
- Seeding will determine who picks side.

Applications:

Teams that have not qualified yet, and are interested in competing in the Main Placement Tournament can apply via email before Thursday, December 6th @ 11:00 PM CST.

To apply, teams must be signed up in the FREE division with at least 5 "@ready" members on their roster.

Please send the following to CPage@cevo.com to apply.

Quote:

1. Team Name
2. Link to CEVO team page. (Can be found on the standings)
3. Team Experience / Accomplishments (CEVO, other leagues/tournaments, other games, etc..)
4. Why you feel that your team deserves to be invited into the tournament.

i don't know if they all applied or applied correctly but:

6. 5153N36 (Trying to bring back det? Good players from CALCZmain with some big names. Refer to team page for history LOL.)
7. Hitlist (Some well known ESEA names and from CopyCats aka Indico Lower Round Finalists)
8. longshot (no need to say more...)
9. Initial Reaction (xyience's and lowrider's cz team that failed due to roster issues...back for revenge?)
10. +-legit (fabz's french gang no need to say more....m1 gaming?)
11. k5 (known5 did really well in the last season of CALCZo back for more with eric and cleo...and kayvon?!!?)
12. Frenetic Array (did pretty well cevo season1 with some roster cuts..they look to move up)
13. k3a (old calczMain team looking to rise up to that level again...can they bring it back?)
14. United Gamers (good old calczmain team picked up Perez for this season….hopefully they can bounce back from last season)
15. insomniac (some names from CALCZmain and from CAL1.6im let’s see what they bring to the table)
16. -----i dont know who should take the last place….tell me who i missed or forgot

so can we get a list of the teams that have aready applied? It would be intresting seeing the teams that believe they deserve a spot. About every team i've talked to promises they are getting in. Gonna be some disappointment and some teams falling out quick over this tourney.

the registration process. im pretty sure if people wanted to be in the cevo placement, they would already have applied by now >.> but then again, i may be wrong and people are still sending you emails even this late.
