CEVO Condition Zero Season 1 Playoffs
Round 1 Prediction

Well Ladies and Gents, welcome to the post-season. After dyi made some false predictions on false matches I had to come in and make my own on the real bracket. It seems like a start of a new era in a new CZ league after the death of CAL. I’d like to congratulate the teams who made it into the playoffs and I see some new and old faces in the top tier of CZ. Playoffs will definitely show the depth of a roster with 2 matches a week and deadlines to be met. We shall see who has the roster to continue to the next tier/level and which teams won't be able to field 5 each playoff match. For some teams, the challenge won't be the team they face but fielding five for each match. Best of luck to all teams.

The first map of playoffs is de_dust2_cz and basically a traditionally 1.6 league map that goes back to the first days of competitive cs. A few things are different like boxes, walls, and noises but mostly the map is a very similar construct as its 1.6 predecessor. All teams that want to continue deeper into playoffs will have to bring their A-game because both 1.6 teams and CZ teams will know the maps. I believe in the end well-seasoned strats and the quality of shots are going to decide the winners on de_dust2_cz.

#1 Bipolar (8-0-0) vs #16 Azn Dragon Boizz (5-3-0)
The only team to enter into playoffs with an immaculate record, Bipolar, starts off with a rather easy match. Coming off a well-played win over the strong iix, bipolar proves that they are the powerhouse this season.Their strong roster can foster a formidable five and with ScruFFy, unsuspended and zbaf actually playing, bipolar will take this match rather easily. I don’t like to put teams down or create a shadow of no hope for the other team but I highly doubt the Azn Dragon Boizz will be able to come out of this match with a W. Down to the lower brackets you go Azn Dragon Boizz.

#8 Simple Soldiers (6-2-0) vs #9 We Play Naked (5-3-0)
Don’t let the seedings confuse you. Simple Soldiers is a dangerous team coming off a very close win against a formidable This is for Allah. On the other hand, We Play Naked seems to have had a real rocky season thus far with a 5-3 record and losses to all the top tier teams. I don’t see a big challenge for Simple Soldiers unless the teamwork and practice comes through for We Play Naked. Lower Bracket for WPN I guess!

Simple Soldiers 16 > 8 We Play Naked

#5 Top Gun (6-2-0) vs #12 DominoEffect (5-3-0)
Yet again, don’t let the seeds fool you. Both are very strong teams heading into playoffs and both have proven that they belong in the post season. DominoEffect barely losing to the #2 iix team in overtime and Top Gun coming off a strong Week 8 win over a tough We Drop Deuces, this should be an exciting match to watch. I see dominoeffect squeezing through on this one due to sheer experience and it being a 1.6-based map. This map could easily go either way if strats and shots work well for either team but I give this one to dominoeffect though because of their rather easy win over Top Gun in the regular season on cargo, a 1.6 de_train based map.

#4 Get on our Level (7-1-0) vs #13 This is for Allah (5-3-0)
A good matchup this round 1 of playoffs between two pretty good teams. GOOL, being only one of two 7-1-0 teams this season, roars into playoffs against a rather flailing This is for Allah team who just got handed a loss in a tough week 8 match against simple soldiers. The experience of 1.6 will tilt the odds into the hands of GOOL. This is for Allah will have to bring its best game with practice, strats, and shots to overcome this challenge. Both teams have the level of play and the experience to make things happen but this one should go to GOOL just looking at the sheer power of the GOOL roster.

Get on Our Level 16 > 11 This is for Allah

#6 Not Applicable (6-2-0) vs #11 We Drop Deuces (5-3-0)
Both teams have a number of decent players with decent teamwork. The only thing I see a bit weird is that Not Applicable coming in at #6 seed with only losses against top tier teams, Meng and Hitlist. We Drop Deuces on the other hands suffered a 5-3-0 season with losses against iix and Meng but a win against This is for Allah. Not Applicable turned the season around and won many of their later matches while Wd2 wavered in the second half of the season against the toughest teams out there. This will be a very close match but I want to give it to Wd2 because of their teamwork and decent shots. This will be a very close match to watch and will hinge on whoever brings the shots and strats.

#3 Meng (6-2-0) vs #14 Ya Dig? (6-2-0)
I don’t know how this happened. CPI wanted a massacre. Meng coming off a rocky season against #1 and #2 should have no problem and could play with no mouse to take this. I’m sorry for Ya Dig? but at least there is a lower bracket for you guys. Meng takes this easily based off of shots, strats, CZ experience, 1.6 experience, and the list goes on.

#7 PSA (6-2-0) vs #10 Nigeria’s Money Crew (6-2-0) *MOTW*
In terms of even match up is concerned, here it is. PSA and NMC both have the experience and shots to match up evenly. NMC is an ESEA-im team who plays well together and can deliver on de_dust2_cz, a 1.6-based map. PSA has players from CZ-main and from CAL-im 1.6. This can really really really go both ways depending on who is playing for PSA and who can bring the shots and strats on this cliché popular league map. I tip the favor into the hands of NMC because of their undying teamwork and their experience in ESEA-im but really this can go either way. Creative and ex-CZmain nou members can pull the W also.

#2 third I bl nd (7-1-0) vs #15 together we are terrific (5-3-0)
Well, the odds evens and everything is in the hands of iix in this match. It should be a blowout and third I bl nd is out for blood and vengeance after a tough loss against #1 bipolar in week 8 tarnishing that clean undefeated record. I’m sorry to TWAT but it looks like third I bl nd won’t stop for anyone and will whiz right past TWAT to advance in the upper brackets of playoffs.

edit : I see 8 strong teams in the playoffs ; bipolar, simple soldiers, topgun, GOOL, dominoeffect, this is for allah, iix and meng.

6 of em are in the higher part of the brackets, that means finishing 1st got us a harder schedule!

I mean I don't see a win yet in their column so yea...but to be honest teams like "ya dig?" just taking FFW because they don't start exactly at the time just seems to me like they are scared. To be honest, I don't see yadig competing with 90% of these teams but any means to a W...i guess...
I wanted to see a good playoffs seeing Meng facing off against teams like 50cal/bipolar/gool again but now it's going to be yadig? vs those teams which will be an unentertaining blowout.............
I am hating...getting FFW's in playoffs to get past #3 seeded teams being couple minutes late isn't going to win you the next match.

yea..were like 5mins late. match start at 10pst but we have 15mins wait time...we got there 10:20pm. and they kept saying how they want to FFW...anyways we are fine, we still have 2nd chance, I just feel sorry to my team because it is my fault as a leader. and ya dig people, if u see this...we can play tonight 12cst/10pst if u guys still want to play...match is not updated yet..we can still play...

Uno, dont be a dick to them. It will make them less likely to want to play the match.

But to "ya dig", you guys should play the match. Let's be honest, you're telling me that you couldn't wait 5 mins for them? Unless you can give everyone a GOOD reason as to why 5 mins is too much to ask for, then you should play the match. It seems like you wanted an easy way out of having to play meng. I know rules are rules, and Im strict on following rules myself, but that's just plain pathetic.

p.s. sorrowpants, its ok. rusty is better than me anyways, but he cant play. so put fabz ;)

We don't give special privileges just because its playoffs. I offered both teams to play again..a team proposed a time and then accepted the time. Then when match time came the opposing team did not show? Am I supposed to reward teams for not following the rules?

bipolar were the biggest cry babies to play with ever...not flexible with time or server...we had to use 2 back ups cause of it and look at the end result which is pretty sad in itself..and cates lagged out one rd and connected for the next rd so give correct information next time thx

These "Aznnn Dragonn BOIZZZZ" know approximately 130% more about this game then anyone can ever know. Despite them being azn, I've heard stories that their dicks rival the size of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and one of them even downed a half gal of grey goose without even vomiting. They can all bench, squat, and clean about 2.25x their own body weights and get more pussy then if youtook Hugh Hefner and multiplied the pussy he got by 4.78
