Professional Placement Tournament Begins!


The sixteen (16) teams have been selected and are ready to compete in the CS: Source Season 8 Professional Placement Tournament. Matches will being play on Monday, April 6th and continue for four (4) grueling days of competition until we have found our top six (6) to compete in the Professional division for Season 8.


Structure:


This mini-tournament is double elimination with every match being a best of three maps. Each team will select one map of their choice and the third map will be chosen by CEVO|Celone. No map will be played twice in the same match.


Rosters:


Rosters will be locked for the duration of this tournament to avoid roster hopping and roster stacking. Roster close for this tournament on Sunday, April 5th at 11:59PM PST. No exceptions will be made for this, not even if the other team agrees.

Reschedules and postponements are NOT allowed. In regard to this, ALL TEAMS are recommended to have at least 7 members on their roster in the event you cannot field your regular 5.

Rules and Guidelines:


The tournament rules and guidelines are as follows:

- All CEVO rules are in full effect, except as different below.
- The tournament format is double elimination.
- Each match will be a best of three maps.
- Teams may reserve a CEVO server for any match.
- Any disputes must be filed within 1 hour of match completion.
- Each team is only allowed to dispute a maximum of two players per match.
