CEVO CSS IRC Channels
With the start of Season 7 just around the corner, CEVO would like to announce the opening of all of our CSS IRC club channels. We have created these channels to help teams find scrims against teams of roughly the same caliber and hangout with members of the community.
Here are the current CSS IRC channels supported by CEVO:
1) #cevoscrim - This is our public scrim channel. Anyone and everyone can access this channel simply by joining #cevoscrim. Players may use this channel to find scrims for CEVO-A or our pay-to-play leagues. We encourage teams to idle and find scrims here as the channel grows!
2) #cevo-cssm - This is our CEVO-Main scrim channel. Players who are registered to divisions in and above CEVO-Main will be able to access the channel via the CEVO|Bot. For instructions on how to use the bot, read below.
In order to properly gain access to the CEVO CSS private IRC channels you will need to do the following:
1. Add your GameSurge auth account to your CEVO account.
2. Add the following lines to your perform:
a) //mode $me +ix
b) /msg CEVO|Bot inviteme #channel
The CEVO|Bot will check what team and division you are currently registered to by cross referencing your GameSurge auth account. When the bot verifies who you are, you will be invited to the channel you requested.
