Condition Zero Week 3 Predictions
MAIN
After a good week 2, in terms of predictions, I see week 3 being easier to predict too. I’m actually going to South Korea for 2 weeks to see my girlfriend and to just vacation but I’ll try to do predictions at a PC Café place while I get mesmerized by Starcraft 2. ^_^
De_corruption_Cz
GOOD CZ MAP!! A great map that requires some strategy and thinking because a well-placed player can take down 3-4 at a time in a line of fire on this map. There are many choke points and flash spots on this map so it actually does help to have a strategy or two rather than just running to B.
CZ PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:
TeamOTW: ecoKINGS – Even without Maz or Glocks, the team came through with the bench stepping up.
PlayerOTW: kamuiz – rumors say he dropped bombs on Exigence
BenchOTW: miDO – came up big for his ecoKINGS team when Glocks couldn’t be there.
LaughOTW: Just A Glimpse got caught with a cheater, apparently, a YangFuShang wannabe.
Synergy (2-0-0) vs. ecoKINGS (2-0-0)
Look for a pretty good match because Synergy isn’t as bad as people think. They deserve to be in main and they are a 2-0-0 team. ecoKINGS are the keke 1.6 pug that is coming to rape CZ. They did it to Xtreme Measures last week and after a rough preseason start, things are looking great with redkiller just out-fragging everyone. Synergy has played corruption before and I’m not sure if ecoKINGS has but just purely on shots I think ecoKINGS will be able to take this map. I don’t see a blowout but I see a strong finish with a pull-away by ecoKINGS.
ecoKINGS 16 > 10 Synergy
PTW: redkiller
Young Money (2-0-0) vs. We Play Naked (2-0-0) *MOTW*
Young Money is flexing those CS arms with their impressive finish in ESEA-im and then winning both main matches in convincing fashion. We Play Naked came off a strong win against pts but an iffy close match against PSA. I see Young Money getting the best of We Play Naked because both of these teams know corruption and shots-wise I think Young Money will be able to squeeze by. Look for deCarlo to put up big.
Young Money 16 > 12 We Play Naked
PTW: deCarlo
Just a Glimpse (1-1-0) vs. Xtreme Measures (1-1-0)
Just a Glimpse is coming off a FFL due to a cheating player on the team but don’t underestimate this team. Nick Norman’s legendary pug is full of ESEA-LAN finals players and also ESEA-pug all-stars. Xtreme Measures comes off a tough loss against ecoKINGS which I thought would be closer. Look for rampage, carnage, and NAKS to do some work but I think Just a Glimpse will be taking this one knocking xM further down.
Just a Glimpse 16 > 10 Xtreme Measures
PTW: newbits =]
TPFL (1-1-0) vs. PSA (1-1-0)
This is going to be a great match with the addition of mishap and Doherty to the TPFL squad =]. PSA has been a strong force in main both seasons so far and they are one of those under-the-radar type teams who deserve to be given more credit. They almost defeated WPN last week and TPFL did beat TWAT in week 1. Both teams come off tough losses to 2-0 teams. I see TPFL taking this match with insepT carrying his team but hopefully eduB and mishap can take some of that load off his back. ;P insepT.
TPFL 16 > 14 PSA
PTW: INSEPT AS USUAL HAHAHAHA
Dead End Theory (1-1-0) vs. Nasty Inbred Cambodian Kids (2-0-0)
Dead End Theory comes off a FFW and hopefully it will be enough to lift the team after the 1-16 loss to Xtreme Measures. NICK is surprisingly a 2-0 team with a good win against Xsight and a FFW in week 1. Look for a good match if both teams play their best players but we all know that never happens.
NICK 16 > 9 DET
PTW: shady LOL <3
Exigence (1-1-0) vs. Rush (1-1-0)
Exigence is a good team this season with some new additions that make a solid 5 or 6. Rush is falling apart as I see it with a FFW in week 2 and a tough loss in week 1. I see Exigence winning this week even after the tough loss against JAG. Look for Exigence to get the rounds to win this in a convincing manner.
Exigence 16 > 7 Rush
PTW: Rock
Area Code (0-2-0) vs. Crymore? (1-1-0)
I’m going to go off a hunch and give Area Code their first win. Crymore lost badly to ecoKINGS in week 1 (1-16) and Area Code played both their matches and got some good rounds against Synergy at least (10-16). Look for Area Code to upset the crymore team this week.
Area Code 16 > 10 Crymore?
PTW: JohnnyPockets
Inactive~~~~~ (0-2-0) vs. United Gaming (1-1-0)

Xsight (1-1-0) vs. EBK (1-1-0)
This match will probably be a match to watch because both of them are about at the same level in play. They can’t compete with the top competition in main but they are above average in open. Both teams come off losses to teams and then a FFW. I see this match being a close one but Xsight should be able to take it in my opinion.

BUMBACLOT (1-1-0) vs. d!u9u (1-1-0)
Winner will be the guy who posts in matchcomm to get the FFW. But if played I see d!u9u winning.

At least you want to get good? I play this game and write these preds in my off time or when the work day is slow. I have respect for players who have an IQ higher than their shoe size. I've been to main plenty of times and I actually got there by going through open. Not just joining up on a roster that I never play on. I'm not mad that I'm not in main. I play with Wong, Dubz, Dreamer, wqb9r who are all very good friends of mine and we play 1.6 together all the time and that's why I play with them.
I don't try to get better because I play at a decent level and that's all I need. I'm a college student preparing for law school and soon I'll be done with game for good. I just stick around because some long time friends are still here.

I sat on their team because they needed a certain amount of players to start the season and stay in main. I don't even play 1.6 anymore, I was helping out my buddies dubz, scruffy, wqb9r, and evan and I played one match because they asked me to. You never started for singlehanded or have been on their team so stop talking this instant.

turk, im cool with you and all, but I doubt you were on an esea main team, and I know you def couldn't start for one. And it is true that miklos was asked to join my main team. I was inactive along with a lot of our old team, so we needed people to fill the roster to try and stay alive. Miklos is friends with wqb9r and was asked to play.
